Gas Line Repairs & Installation
Many of our customers rely on gas to heat their homes and hot water. That means you have gas lines in your home. Keep safe and have Titan Heating check for leaks and fix them fast. Do not mess with gas! Call a trusted professional. In other words, call Titan Heating & Cooling.
Gas Leak Safety Inspection
Titan's technicians can perform a gas leak safety inspection in your home. This inspection can make sure that there are no hazardous gas leaks and that your piping is safe and follows required code. This important safety check should be done at least one a year.
Electronic Gas Leak Detection
We have advanced tools that can detect even the smallest gas leak. Our technicians have the skills to inspect your gas piping system to ensure that it is safe and sound. We can use an electronic gas "sniffer" to carefully inspect your black iron piping and fittings to ensure no gas is escaping.
Gas Line Installations
In addition to repairs, we can also install gas lines for you. We install gas lines using both black iron pipes as well as CSST tubing. We commonly run gas lines to stoves, grills, clothes dryers and other appliances. Our technicians are certified to install corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) and direct-burial PE piping.
Gas Line Pressure Testing
This service is generally done at the request of your gas provider. This test is to ensure that the gas line is leak free. We use an air compressor to pressurize the gas pipes in your home. Once pressurized, we take pressure measurements over time to see if the pressure drops. We record the results and submit the test checklists to your provider that certifies the gas system is leak-free.

Frequently Asked Questions about Gas Line Repairs & Installation
Gas line work should be handled carefully because natural gas systems affect safety, equipment operation, and code compliance. These answers explain common gas line repair and installation questions and how Titan Heating & Cooling helps homeowners address gas line concerns properly.
What should I do if I smell gas in my home?
If you smell gas in your home, leave the area immediately and avoid using switches, phones, appliances, or anything that could create a spark. Once you are safely away from the home, contact your gas utility or emergency services. Do not try to find or repair a gas leak yourself.
Does Titan repair residential gas lines?
Yes. Titan Heating & Cooling performs residential gas line repairs related to HVAC equipment, water heaters, and other approved gas appliances. Gas line problems should be inspected and repaired properly because leaks, poor connections, and incorrect sizing can create safety and performance concerns. Our technicians can evaluate the situation and explain the appropriate repair options.
Can Titan install gas lines for new equipment?
Yes. Titan Heating & Cooling can install gas lines for many types of residential gas-fired equipment, including furnaces, boilers, water heaters, and other applicable appliances. Proper sizing, routing, shutoffs, connections, and testing are important parts of the installation. We focus on clean, safe work that supports reliable equipment operation.
How do I know if my gas line needs repair?
A gas line may need repair if you smell gas, hear hissing near a gas pipe or appliance, notice damaged piping, have an appliance that is not operating correctly, or are told by the utility company that a problem exists. You should not ignore suspected gas line issues. A qualified technician can inspect the system and determine what needs to be corrected.
Can I repair or install a gas line myself?
No. Gas line repairs and installations should not be treated as do-it-yourself projects. Incorrect materials, poor connections, improper sizing, or missed leaks can create serious safety hazards. Titan Heating & Cooling recommends having gas line work performed by trained professionals who understand proper installation and testing requirements.
Does gas line work need to be tested after repair or installation?
Yes. Gas line work should be properly tested after repair or installation to help confirm that the system is safe and leak-free before equipment is operated. Testing is an important part of responsible gas line work. Titan Heating & Cooling follows the appropriate process to verify the work before leaving the system in service.m, identify the issue or maintenance needs, and explain the findings clearly. We focus on straightforward communication, clean work, and practical recommendations. Our goal is to give you confidence in the condition of your air conditioning system and the next step forward.
